Here is the one of her "singing" I couldn't get it up on the last one...sooo I just gave up. I love it!!!! It is most certainly going up in a frame!!! And, I think she may even be dancing a little...notice the arms both to the side!!!! haha!

IT'S A.......

GIRL!!!!!!!!!

Jackie and I had our ultrasound Wednesday morning, and it was quite obvious that we were going to have a girl!
She is very healthy and developing quite well. The Technician said she weighed about 1 pound and 5 ounces, and is about the length of a Barbie Doll , how appropriate ;) All of her organs are developing well, and in the right place. Baby Girl Elwart didn't want to give us a profile shot, I suppose she just wanted her picture taken!! (GOOD GIRL!!!) The technician also said that she was hanging out pretty low, and is very active, especially when she was shaking my stomach to get her to move over on her back!! (which she never did) We have video also, of her and her heartbeat, but I do not have one single clue as to how to get it on here, so we will all just have to wait until Jackie can get around to it.

Until then, here are a few pictures, she is looking right at the camera!! And in one she seems to be singing! (wishful thinking maybe!?) Well, enjoy!!!

Good friends

Well, we FINALLY all got together after about a year! I live about 2 hours away from my 2 best friends, and we could never find time to meet up. And, what better time to do just that, than a birthday. Luckily for them, Toni and Jessi's birthdays just happen to be days apart!! I went to Kinston Monday the 16th of October to help Jessi celebrate at Pizza Villa for dinner. Then I went out to Greenville on the 18th, to meet up with Toni for lunch. And, then we surprised Jessi at work at Wal Greeens! Monday was the first time Jessi and I had seen each other since I got pregnant, and the first time Toni saw me since she OR I had gotten pregnant. ( Toni is in the white shirt.) This was so much fun and we all decided to NEVER go that long without hanging out again! We will see how that goes, though! So here is the picture! We took it at Walgreens were Toni and Jessi both work. My shirt, in case you can't read it, says: "I Can Grow People". I LOVE THAT SHIRT!!!! I hope to post more soon!

Just a bump on a.....log?

Here they are ladies and gentlemen! The (apparently) long awaited photos of me pregnant!! As I was loading these pictures, I looked at them (duh) and I couldn't believe my eyes! In the last week I have recieved this belly that you are now looking at! Last week it was not like this! just a slight little bump. now you can plainly see that I am pregnant. I am both happy and terrified! And it is only getting bigger! Being pregnant is awesome, and terrifying. But more good than bad, of course! The baby was moving so much yesterday. It seems like I get 5 or more kicks every 2 hours or so, and now I THINK I feel it flipping, or rolling! So, it is very thrilling. Well, I hope to post more soon! And I promise that when I get bigger I will post more pictures! I hate that you guys feel left out!

BABY NEWS

Guess who is making their presence known!? The Baby, that's who!!

Monday morning I felt the baby punch or kick 3 times in a row!! I called Jackie as soon as I felt it and realized what it was. It was really cool (there has to be a better word for it, but cool is all I can come up with!) I was and still am very excited!

THEN, as if that wasn't enough for me in one day, Jackie and I were playing SIMS on the XBOX, and I felt the Baby kick again; I told Jackie and he lept up from the couch and came over to see! I lifted my shirt over my belly, and there it was!! I felt it, and we both SAW it!! It was sooo COOL!!! (there's that word again!) It was AWESOME!! (that's better!!) Jackie put his hand on my belly, and he felt it too!

AWESOME!!!

Updates!!

Well, at 8:30 this morning Jackie and I were at the OB/GYN for my 16 week appointment. Basically all it was for was to hear the baby's heart beat (good, very good, by the way) and to get a blood test from ME..(Ugh) to test the baby for Cystic Fibrosis and Down Syndrome. And, it was OVER. I do not go back until November 8th for an ultrasound, and an appointment with a midwife. SOOO....that's about it! I really don't have anything else to report. I no longer feel sick (unless I don't eat for more than 4 hours). I feel pretty good for the most part. I still get a little pain in my sides every now and again, but other than that, pretty good! I have already said that like 200 times in this post, right?! Oh well! The belly is beginning to stick out a little, and people are starting to acknowledge the fact that I am indeed pregnant!!! Finally, people just wouldn't take my word for it!!! Anywho....I think about 10 sentences ago I said I didn't have anything else to say..again I say OH WELL!! Alright, enough of my ramblings! Hope to post more soon!!
