Misc. Monday w/ pictures {some I took, some I stole...}

1.  Today was a hectic mess of a day!
And, I never left the house.
I feel like I got so much done.
But NOTHING done all at the same time!

2.  White fingernail polish is pretty when done right.
 But it gets old after about 2 days.

I'm over my white nails. And, I wish I hadn't put back the YELLOW polish the other day.

3.  Dressing up in cowprint is fun.  But, dressing up in cowprint for free food is AWESOME.
Justsayin'.

Don't ask what's up with my bangs...because I don't know what was going on there....
But, I must say my hubs looks sexy in cow print chaps...bahahahahaha
4. I love watermelon.

This thing was full this morning. I WE have been munching on it all day.

5. I have been wanting to make pillows all day.  My sewing machine is even out and ready to go...but why can't I just SIT there and do it!?!?

6. Why won't Charlotte go to sleep.  Really!? Are you really out of bed AGAIN?!
I think I counted 4 times already. Ugh. Just.go.to.sleep.

7. Can you take pictures off of someone else's blog and post them? I will give credit...so, please, don't call the blog police on me.  I don't have pictures of ME in the shoes yet......
I get MY shoes tomorrow.  I am SUPER excited!!  I cannot wait.

Misc. Monday

Oh! Has it been forever since my last Misc. Monday.

1.

 I fell asleep on the couch last night...and slept HARD!  I did't wake up until sunrise and actually felt like I had slept! {which is a big change from waking up exhausted..}

2.

I have started doing more crafty things around the house..LOVE it!

I covered my wipes case for the diaper bag  {first time EVER doing it..}

I also made artwork for the girl's playroom/my craft/sewing room.

Mod podge and tissue paper? Who'da thunk!?

{I would tell you what blog I saw this on, but I can't remember! }

And, here are 2 of the newest pillowcase dresses I have made.

A sweet lady down the street is having a little girl and she asked me to make these!

I just ADORE the damask and green.  I WILL be making one for Sadie!

My husband brought me 2 dozen flowers! 

He came home from work and had 2 bouquets in his hands.

Am I blessed or what!?

4.

Last week was Family Fellowship week at our church.

Our Pastor is a Board Member of World Wide New Testament Baptist Missions.

And they have a "family reunion" of sorts every summer with all the missionary families that are on deputation, furlow, or just plain ole nearby!

It was such a blessing to be a part of it, again!

2 years ago, when Jackie was the church intern, we were invited to go along with our Pastors and their families to FFW, it was a blessing then to be in attendance and to hear all the wonderful preaching of God's Word!

This year, I was heading up the nursery.  The blessing was in being able to serve God by serving the missionary kids this year! Our mornings started at 7:30 at church for breakfast with all the board members and missionaries! Then, I was in the nursery until 12:30 when we had lunch with everyone before the afternoon break!  {during that time everyone else was in the auditorium listening and enjoying good preachin'!}

Dinner was at 5:30 back at church.  So the girls and I went home after lunch and took naps and got up and headed back to church. We had choir practice at 6:30 every night and then evening services at 7:00.  I don't think the clock read anything but 10:00 pm when I got home! 

Everyone at our church that served, really came together everyday..Monday-Thursday and were so sweet, willing to help.  Willing to be servants.  What a great church! And, more importantly, what a great God!  It was such a blessing meeting missionaries I hadn't met before and getting to see and talk with missionaries that I have become "old" friends!   I cannot wait until the next one!

5.

Since last week was so busy, today will be revolved around catching up.

laundry.

vacuumming.

dusting.

bathroom cleaning.

kitchen cleaning.

girls' room cleaning.

Did I mention I will be cleaning!?

6.

I have a new hair -do!  LOVE it!

I am not sure if I posted pictures of the last time I got a new hair do...so here...I will catch everyone up! haha

This was my first time EVER having bangs.  It was such a drastic cut!  A blunt bob with bangs!

Crazy!

I loved it.

But, I LLOOOVE my new hair do so much more!

I still have bangs { didn't realize I would like having them so much}

I want to grow my hair back out, but while it is short, I wanted it to have a style...before, when it was growing out, it was all one length and it just didn't look right.

Anyway, I LOVE it!  Thanks, Adrian! 

I think I may have found my new stylist!

Oh.  I love Misc. Mondays.

Misc. Monday

1.  Preschool is going GREAT!  Charlotte LOVES to work on her worksheets, and has really showed interest in all that "we" are learning!! 

2.  After choir practice yesterday, Charlotte climbed the few stairs to the Baptism "pool" and said to me in her most serious voice : " One day, Pastor Tim is going to "batherize" me right here!"  {all while patting the side of the tub...} It could have been just the hormones.  It could have just been the pure sweetness of her statement.  Or in all likelyhood, it was a LOT of both, but I started crying!!

3.  Audrey is really chatting up a storm now, and I love it! I start to hate it though when she calls my name about 50 times while I am standing RIGHT.THERE.

4.  I love NERDS candy.  I almost ate the whole box on Saturday.

5.  Musicals are the best.  Just watched Thoroughly Modern Millie {again} on Saturday and it was ridiculous.  Julie Andrews is awesome.

6.  I am looking forward to giving birth again in a couple months.  Well, not exactly the giving birth part, but you know,  the getting this baby out and in my arms part!

7.  Still looking for that perfect name for above mentioned little babe.

Still waiting for my husband to finish going through the baby book to make his list so we can make a combined list....waiting....waiting....waiting.....

8. this one was missing...oops. So here is a picture to fill the gap...

27 weeks..a week late.  {28 weeks tomorrow...yahoo!}

9.  Did I mention I'm WAAIITING!!!

10.  #9 just made me NEED to watch The Princess Bride today...

11. If my belly button comes out anymore...it would fall off.  justsayin'.

12.  I am really looking forward to Revival and Homecoming coming up this Sunday at our Church.  If you are in the area..or wouldn't mind traveling a bit for some great preaching and good food, come on out to New Testament Baptist Church this Sunday!! We would love to have you!

13. OH..and I change my blog background like once a week or something like that.  I am fickle that way...and would paint my house a different color every couple of months if I could.  I am a woman.  And a pregnant woman at that...DANGEROUS when it comes to decorating....
