28 Weeks

Monday I had my 28 week appointment..and well, let me just tell you, it was NOT a fun one! Let's count the number of band-aids on my body....hmmm....1....2....3!!! UGH! I hate needles....and I recieved the sharp end of three today. One for my flu shot...the second for my gestational diabetes blood work....(and the glucose drink that goes with that is in one word...horrible! )....and the third and FINAL one was for my RhoGam shot. And...when you are pregnant, they find all sorts of places to give you these shots....use your imagination!!
But it is all worth it and most certainly will be worth all this to have a healthy baby! And yet, I still complain. Oh well....I am only human!
All this to start off my third trimester...that's right readers, I am in the home stretch!! SCARED!? DEFINITELY! EXCITED?! HECK YES! SCARED?! wait, didn't I already say scared!? YEAH...and YEAH!
Now comes the time in my pregnancy where I really have to be on the look out for my water breaking at any moment, counting my baby's movements, taking classes...AND....enjoy being pregnant for the short time remaining!
So, wish me luck!

Oh, and for my birthday, my wonderful husband paid for me to get my hair cut!! YAY! It was way over do!
